Independent Brand Work
A selection of brand-building and identity work for small businesses and independent brands.
Silvia Colina Pastry Shop
Silvia Colina Pastry Shop is a Miami-based artisanal pastry shop with a product beautiful enough to sell itself; it just needed a visual identity and a social media presence to match.
I led the full creative direction, bilingual content creation, and social media strategy for the brand's Instagram, building a cohesive aesthetic that complemented the products and the shop's ambiance while driving brand awareness, reach, and 35% sales growth.
Carolina Ruiz Real Estate
Carolina Ruiz is a Miami-based realtor and former Chilean model targeting high-net-worth clients in the Latin market. She had the personality, the network, and the listings — what she needed was a personal brand that made wealthy Chilean buyers trust her with one of the biggest decisions of their lives.
The strategy combined her chic personal style and fashion background with her real estate expertise, leaning into education and relatability alongside aspirational lifestyle content to make her feel knowledgeable, approachable, and reachable rather than distant or purely transactional. Beyond social and brand identity, I secured her two radio interviews and a feature in Elle Chile, extending her personal brand into earned media.
The result was a modernized, media-backed brand presence that spoke directly to her target audience in both language and aesthetic — driving a real increase in inquiries and closings.
Nanai Sweets
Nanai Sweets is a Miami-based artisanal brand bringing a traditional Chilean delicacy — dulce de leche treats — to local markets. The challenge was making something handmade and deeply cultural feel fresh, modern, and shareable to a bilingual Miami audience.
I led the brand's full creative development end to end — logo, visual identity, messaging, and bilingual brand voice, along with product photography and videography, social media templates, and event materials including banners and pop-up signage.
The result was a cohesive brand presence that carried the same voice and visual language from packaging to Instagram to the farmers market table, translating a beloved Chilean tradition into a brand that felt authentic, modern, and ready to compete in a new market.
